“Hard Labor” refers to how the park was built in the 1930s by the CCC. Many state parks have old facilities, but this one was beautifully renovated 2 years ago.

Little Rock bike police training
We biked 29 miles round trip on a developing bike path along Arkansas River from Maumelle Park to downtown Little Rock, where we saw the bike police training and had food court lunch from a guy from Ramallah. We saw quite a few people walking and running the trail, some cyclists. Now we’re in holly Springs Mississippi, just having passed the large fedex hq adjoining Memphis

Wolf Creek on the continental divide was very pretty! But crowded for spring break. In multiple parking lots counted only 2 license plates not from Texas. The surrounding mountain area has very interesting landscape
