“Hard Labor” refers to how the park was built in the 1930s by the CCC. Many state parks have old facilities, but this one was beautifully renovated 2 years ago.

Little Rock bike police training
We biked 29 miles round trip on a developing bike path along Arkansas River from Maumelle Park to downtown Little Rock, where we saw the bike police training and had food court lunch from a guy from Ramallah. We saw quite a few people walking and running the trail, some cyclists. Now we’re in holly Springs Mississippi, just having passed the large fedex hq adjoining Memphis
